Filter Nozzle Material Specifications

Our Filter nozzles and Filter nozzles-stars are made of polypropylene. Depending on the drop in pressure for example at 60 degree Celsius (333 K) Polypropylene (PP) is resistant against:

  1. ammonia ag 10%

  2. Formaldehyde ag 10%

  3. isopropanol all concentrations

  4. methanol ag 50%

  5. caustic soda solutions 50%

  6. hydrochloric acid 50%

  7. sulfuric acid 50%

  8. soda water

  9. ozone 20 degrees Celcius, 50pphm (0,5ml/L)

  • Polypropylene is physiologically unobjectionable.

  • With increasing frost polypropylene gets more sensitive. Please, handle all articles made of polypropylene accordingly. If it is cold we recommend to warm up filter nozzles and nuts before installation.

  • For hot water of a continuous temperature of up to max 135 degrees Celcius depending on the drop in pressure we recommend PVDF. (Conditionally resistant to concentrated caustic solutions).
